The IVA-W505/P1 All-in-one Navigation/Audio/Video System ($1400 S.R.I.) includes the IVA-W505 2-DIN head unit and the NVE-P1 removable navigation drive. The IVA-W505/P1 is a premium touch screen head unit that gives you full control of your system all from a maximized 7" screen. Maps and More
The IVA-W505/P1 comes with preloaded NAVTEQ® map data of the United States and Canada, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, which translates to maps galore. Choose from four different intuitive map view options, such as 3D mapping, 2D full map, split map, and turn-by-turn arrow view. This unit also features Alpine's exclusive Graphical User Interface (GUI for Drivers&trad;) with intuitive screen graphics, so it's easy for you to find your way. Get quick and easy directions from start to finish.
Let Alpine Lead the Way
With turn-by-turn instructions delivered by Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology, you'll get street names that are actually announced. Directions are available in English, Spanish, or French. With a unique database of POI's (Points of Interest), you can find a plethora of places to go, whether you're hungry and looking for a place to eat, or need to fill up at the nearest gas station! It's a cinch to find your destinations!

Option 1: USB Connection for your iPod
Super-fast access, plus ultimate portable player convenience. The new Full Speed USB connection instantly makes your iPod ready for the road- and even lets you play music from your USB thumb drives or Portable MTP Player, and of course the cable is included!
Connect your iPod* to the IVA-W505/P1 via a dedicated USB input, for the best sound and quickest access to your iPod. You can even see complete Album Art right on the screen, so why bother with individual CD's when you can easily browse through your entire music collection on your iPod? Alpine's USB Connection for iPod lets you enjoy all your favorite iPod tracks on the road. View playlist, artist, album, song, podcast, genre and composer search right on the screen of your head unit. There's no need for bulky interface boxes, just the USB cable (included) that connects your iPod directly to your Alpine. Forget FM transmitters and forget static, hollow sound. Forget the days of analog audio, with USB your music is kept in digital format throughout the entire process, and the 24bit DAC means you can enjoy the best in sound quality with the IVA-W505/P1. iPod Video Control
You can also view and control your iPod movies from the IVA-W505/P1 screen, using the supplied USB cable, without the adding additional adapters. Keep your kids happy with all their favorite videos stored right on your iPod. With Dual Zone you can control your iPod video from the front seat, while your kids view their shows from the comfort of an optional Rear Seat Entertainment system. Video playback is currently compatible with the iPod (5th generation), iPod nano (3rd generation), and the iPod classic.

Full Speed Connection for iPod lets you enjoy all your favorite iPod tracks on the road. View Playlist, artist, album, song, podcast, genre and composer search right on the screen of your head unit. There's no need for bulky interface boxes, just a KCE-422i cable (optional) that connects your iPod directly to your Alpine. Forget FM transmitters and forget static, hollow sound. Full Speed Connection also supports Apple lossless playback. With Alpine, you can take your iPod on the road and sound good while you're doing it. The IVA-W505 offers both Full Speed connection and USB connection options, so you can even connect to two iPods at the same time.

Have lots of music? Find it fast! With Alpine's exclusive Quick Search technology, you'll be able to find what you want, the quickest and easiest way possible. With so many ways to listen to thousands of songs, now you can get super-fast access to playlist, artist, album, song, podcast, genre and composer, even use Quick Search to access your radio stations. Large control buttons and a Touch Screen make it easy to search all sources, including iPod, Satellite radio and HD radio. No interruptions, while you search, so you can keep enjoying your music.

WVGA Display and Enhanced Graphical Interface
Talk about wow! This display is the best screen Alpine has ever offered. The IVA-W505/P1's 7-inch WVGA touch-screen monitor gives you easy access and control of all your favorite media sources. The IVA-W505/P1 features Visual Enhancement, a new technology that provides a more balanced picture, not over-emphasizing dark or light areas, so movies are seen with greater clarity. All of the graphics are crisp, clean, and modern for your viewing pleasure. Of course the IVA-W505/P1 also features a S-Video input so you can take advantage of the amazing screen quality when you connect any high quality video sources.
Choose from two new display modes, selectable via the "Style" button. Go with basic mode for all your song info and a large view of album artwork or switch to Pro mode for additional information such as the next five songs to be played. With iPersonalize you can choose from a wide selection of background graphics, free for download.

Now make and receive phone calls conveniently with both hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. View caller information including caller ID, missed, dialed, received calls and even phone book right from the head unit display. Speak using the supplied microphone, then listen through your car's speakers. You can set up your cell phone/head unit to automatically answer your calls and even have your phone automatically connect as soon as you start your car. With select compatible phones with streaming audio capability, you can listen to and control music stored on your phone and have it stream through your Alpine system.

iTunes Tagging® Get New Songs on the Go
Add Alpine's HD Radio module (optional TUA-T550HD), and when you hear a song you like, simply press and hold the Enter button on the iDA-W505/P1. This iTunes Tagging feature lets you Tag songs you hear on HD Radio stations and stores the info on your iPod. The next time you connect your iPod to iTunes, you will be able to preview your selections and then purchase and download them from directly from iTunes.
Satellite Radio Ready Satellite Service
SIRIUS or XM, Alpine brings your choice of satellite radio inside your car. Add the KCA-SC100 interface for your portable SIRIUS Plug-n-Play device and get automatic Game Alert and Song Alert services, plus convenient program replay and pause functions. The IVA-W505/P1 also supports the new XM Mini Tuner solution (*sold separately), so now you can conveniently use the XM Mini Tuner in your vehicle.

Control Your Alpine From The Steering Wheel
Replace the factory-installed head unit without loss of this convenient option. The IVA-W505/P1 allows you the option of controlling your head unit right from your factory installed steering wheel controls. (*third party adapter required). Use popular brand names such as Soundgate or PAC to add this feature.
