The NVE-P1 is a removable navigation drive that docks in directly to the IVA-W203 and IVA-W505. Complete with NAVTEQ North America map data, including a variety of points of interest (POIs), the NVE-P1 offers Bluetooth wireless technology in addition to providing the right routes.
The NVE-P1 is easily updatable to new mapping and latest points of interest information using your home computer. Plus, get compatibility updates for select new cell phone models.* No AC adapter is required during update. Just simply connect a USB cable.
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
Pair your mobile phone to the NVE-P1 for hands-free conversations via Bluetooth wireless technology. Transfer your phonebook to the module and you can dial your contacts by their names. Like on your mobile phone, the NVE-P1 will provide a history of dialed calls, missed calls and received calls.* An external microphone is included for appropriate placement in your vehicle.

Navigation
Navigating the clearly labeled menu options is quick and easy. Set destinations, select types of routes and add waypoints for multiple-stop trips by simply choosing items from the menu.
The map window provides all the information you need, such as the distance to your next maneuver, estimated time of arrival, text indicating the current street or freeway as well as the name of the next... And of course a bright color-coded map showing your vehicle's position.
There are many ways to set your destination. Besides entering an address, you can select a point off the map screen, get a POI such as a restaurant, gas station or tourist spot from the NAVTEQ data, enter a set of coordinates or street intersections, or choose from your Address Book and destination history.
Customize your display for maximum readability. You can choose from four screen colors (blue, green, purple and black). Also, icons for POIs and Home can be turned on for quick viewing. Turn on the Trail feature while off-roading (off the map data) and dots indicating where you are will appear on screen.
